prof. dr hab. Jacek Grzywacz (Warsaw School of Economics)

Prof. dr hab. Jacek Grzywacz is an alumnus of the Main School of Planning and Statistics (at present: Warsaw School of Economics). In 1990 obtained a PhD in economics for the discourse “Food security - peace and war economy”, in 2000 obtained a habilitated doctor in economics for an essay “Conditions for effective cooperation between the company and the bank”. In 2006 obtained a professor’s title in economics. From the beginning of his scientific career he is bounded up with Warsaw School of Economics. Between 1992 and 2002 he worked parallel in the banking sector. Since 2001, he has been working in PWSZ in Płock, where in the newly established Institute of Economics Sciences, he was entrusted with the function of the Head of the Finance and Accounting Department. In 2004 he was appointed Director of the Institute of Economic Sciences. Between 2008-2016 he was the Rector of the PWSZ in Płock.

Scientific interests of prof. Grzywacz's focus on corporate finance, economic crime and banking. He is the author of over 200 publications, including compact studies and articles in specialist press.
