DIAGNOSIS OF THE NEEDS AND EXPECTATIONS OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY IN THE AREA OF HEALTH CARE QUALITY

The aim of the article was a general assessment of the level of health care and the diagnosis of the needs and expectations of the local community in this regard. The article uses the results of the research made by Katarzyna Rycharska presented in her master's thesis entitled: The needs and expectations of the local community living in the Płock subregion in the area of health care quality. A hundred respondents living in the following couties: Płock, Sierpc and Gostynin participated in the study. A diagnostic survey and the analysis of derivative materials were used to collect the data. The conclusion was that the general level of healthcare was assessed as average, and the surveyed group of respondents expected better access to consultant physicians.
