Abstract
Summary
The franchising consists in the close collaboration between two independent enterprises when
the recipient of the system receives the franchise package in exchange for the appropriate
payment. The scope of the business includes being legitimate to use a recognizable brand
along with “know-how”. Moreover, the franchisee is obliged to act in accordance with the
bottom line of the business. However, the experienced franchisor offers ideas for the business
and essentially supports the partner so that they can succeed.
The rapid development of franchise connections has proved their effectiveness on the European
and American markets. The franchising constitutes an efficient way to achieve success
in the business where an essential condition is the harmonious collaboration between the
recipient of the idea and the organizer of the system. The partnership will increase the probability
of achieving the benefit with a simultaneous minimization of the risk associated with
this network.
The power of the franchise market is a cradle of this system - the United States where this
kind of business is characterized by its completeness with regards to the regulations and it is
totally different from the system operating in European countries. As a consequence, it leads
to the situation when taking actions on the European continent is burdened with a greater risk
of potential conflicts between the parties of the system.
