Summary
The article is devoted to searching of the trends of research of national agricultural
science in conditions of European integration processes. Authors attract
our attention to the fact that the benefits of liberalization of the external sector
can be entirely felt only in condition of painstaking, deliberate, systematic and
complex preparatory work. Authors emphasize that in a complex geopolitical
challenges the main goal of Ukrainian science in general and scientists of
Uman National University of Horticulture in particular is to conduct a thorough analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the existing experience of

international integration, to identify strengths and weaknesses, opportunities
and threats to the sustainable development of the national agrifood system, and
this background will help to create a reliable theoretical and methodological
basis for management decisions related to the European integration processes.
