The journal “Rocznik Towarzystwa Naukowego Płockiego” is included in the list of scientific journals peer-reviewed materials from international conferences (Communication of the Minister of Education and Science of 1 December 2021 in the matter of the list of scientific journals and peer-reviewed materials from international conferences). The yearbook of the Scientific Society of Płock is a scientific journal in which the articles from areas of social sciences and humanities are published. Assigned scientific disciplines: political and administrative sciences, social communication and media sciences, family studies, cultural and religious sciences, history. 

 Each article is reviewed by two reviewers.

In the SSP Yearbook there are texts in Polish, English and other Congress languages.

The first edition of the SSP was published in 1929, the next ones in 1931, 1934 and in 1983. It has been published regularly since 2013. In 2018 the Scientific Society of Płock transferred the right to publish the "Yearbook of the Scientific Society of Plock" to the Mazovian State University in Płock. Since 2018, the co-publisher of the yearbook is the Ignacy Moscicki State Vocational University in Ciechanow. 

On the 10th of March 2022 the 13th volume of the Yearbook of the Plock Scientific Society was published.
